malting
Malting involves soaking grains to sprout, then drying them. This process develops enzymes necessary for converting starches into sugars.
mashing
Mashing mixes malted grains with hot water, activating enzymes to break down starches into fermentable sugars for brewing.

distillation
Distillation separates alcohol from the fermented mixture by heating it. The vaporized alcohol is collected, producing higher alcohol content.
maturation
Maturation allows beer to age, developing its flavors and carbonation as it sits in tanks, barrels, or bottles post-fermentation.

The Dream Begins
Ngoto Premium Craft Lager recipe formulation and we finally get it right and Brew our maiden batch. Passion for craft beer ignites. We start exploring unique brewing techniques and flavours.
2019
SA & Zim Launch
Ngoto is officially launched in South Africa and in Zimbabwe.
2020
UK LAUNCH
Our Ngoto Brand goes international and we launch in the UK. We saw our beer gaining fame amongst Brewers and avid beer consumers.

Gin Cocktail

Aromatic and potent, Ngoto Craft gin is also versatile, which makes it one of the great spirits for building cocktails. Gin is a grain-based liquor flavored with botanicals, including juniper berries, which explains both the name (gin comes from the Dutch word for juniper, jenever) and the fact that gin often tastes vaguely of a conifer forest. Here we look at some of the classic gin cocktails.
Ingredients
• 40ml Ngoto Craft Dry Gin Cinnamon & Spices – 750ml
• 20ml sugar syrup
• 20ml lemon juice
• 10ml crème de mure
• berries or lemon zest, to garnish
METHOD
Tip the gin, sugar syrup and lemon juice together in a shaker, then pour this over crushed ice and drizzle with the crème de mure. Garnish with lemon zest or fresh seasonal berries.
